I thought I would share with you a couple of quick sun study options for a renovation project in Herne Bay. The moving screens and shade structure are designed to filter the strong summer sun on a roof terrace.

Shaping light is a key part of creating beautiful architecture - its something we are truely passionate about and is a recurring feature in our photography and architecture. The rendering package and CAD system we use are tools to help us to show you specifically, for your projects location, how the sun will work in the spaces throughout the different seasons and at different times of the day. It takes a little bit of time to build the 'model', but it sure gives you a good idea of what the final result is going to be like. It also helps us discuss some of the finer details with you, such as the screen detailing, that can have such a big impact on the final result.

Building Consent was granted today, so looking forward to getting on site and seeing it built now!
